Unique experience swimming in a heated outdoor pool in 50 degree weather, and then walking out of the hotel and being in the middle of a bustling city. Location was great for the things we had on our itinerary, including a concert at Bell Centre. Restaurant in the hotel was pretty good and the staff was friendly and helpful. It seemed like there was some kind of issue with the cleaning staff the first couple days we were there, as they didn't come by to clean it till close to 5pm, and some wine bottles and room service trays from other guests sat uncollected in the hallways for at least 24 hours, which is the only reason I hesitate to give 5 stars here. To the staff's credit they were on the ball the last day with the cleaning effort.

Great stay. The rooms were clean and spacious - had the best sleep. Even though there was a conference going on the rooms were so very quiet. The pool was nice in the evening - heated and not busy. Also had a hot tub and sauna. Nice touch with robes in the closet which were great for getting out of the pool in the cold! Only a short walk from the Bell centre. The Via rail station is right across the street and links up to lots of places to eat as well as underground shopping. Metro is accessible right under the hotel as well. Highly recommend if considering hotels in the area!

We stayed here a couple of nights on a weekend getaway to Montreal. We’d been once, years ago, and had really enjoyed it. Our return did not disappoint. It’s such a unique place. The rooftop pool being the highlight and the main reason to come. But the room was beautiful, the staff were friendly, and the location is perfect. We’ll come again.

Our overnight stay was fantastic. The outdoor pool, paired with the hot tub, provided the perfect relaxation spot. Conveniently located within walking distance to everything we needed, the hotel's location couldn't have been better. The restaurant served some delicious food, adding to the overall positive experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, allowing us to check in early. Overall, it was a delightful stay, and we will would definitely recommend to others.

My daughter and I set out from Savanah, Georgia to take explore the beautiful city of Montreal and to experience a Hockey Night in Canada at the Bell Centre. Our stay at the beautiful Hotel Bonaventure was simply amazing! The staff were friendly, rooms were clean and roomy, the restaurant was outstanding, and to rooftop pool and being able to swim in the snow was amazing! It was a trip that we will always remember, and we are already looking forward to doing it again next season and we will be definitely staying at the Hotel Bonaventure again.
